In this role, you will work on end-to-end healthcare integration projects, connecting critical clinical and information systems while ensuring seamless interoperability across healthcare environments. You will collaborate with technical teams, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to design, implement, test, and support integration solutions that improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Healthcare Systems Integration

Design, develop, implement, and maintain healthcare integration solutions.

Participate in end-to-end healthcare integration projects, from requirements gathering through go-live support.

Work closely with clinical, technical, and business stakeholders to ensure successful integrations.

Support healthcare interoperability initiatives across multiple systems and platforms.

Development & Technical Implementation

Develop and maintain integration components using technologies such as:

Mirth Connect

JavaScript

.NET

Java / J2EE

PL/SQL

Visual Studio

XML

SOAP

Web Services

C / C++

Design and optimize database structures and integrations.

Develop and maintain interfaces between healthcare applications and clinical systems.

Testing & Support

Execute functional, integration, performance, and post-upgrade validation testing.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and interoperability issues.

Provide advanced technical support during implementation and post go-live phases.

Ensure system stability, reliability, and compliance with healthcare standards.

Documentation & Collaboration

Document technical solutions, configurations, processes, and support activities.

Collaborate effectively with IT teams, clinical users, vendors, and project stakeholders.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or equivalent qualification in:

Information Technology

Computer Science

Software Engineering

Healthcare Informatics

Related Technical Fields

Professional Experience

Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Healthcare Integration, Software Development, or a related technical role.

Proven experience delivering healthcare integration projects from start to finish.

Experience working with Radiology workflows is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

Strong experience with:

Database Design

SQL

PL/SQL

System Integration

Interface Development

Hands-on experience with integration engines such as Mirth Connect.

Experience with software development technologies including:

.NET

Java

JavaScript

XML

SOAP

Web Services

Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.

Healthcare Standards Knowledge

DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine)

HL7 (Health Level Seven)

IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with RIS, PACS, EMR, EHR, or other clinical systems.

Knowledge of healthcare interoperability frameworks.

Experience supporting hospital or diagnostic imaging environments.

Familiarity with cloud-based healthcare integrations.

Experience working in international healthcare projects.
