Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Key Account Manager with experience in
the Travel Industry to drive corporate sales and business development. The candidate
will be responsible for acquiring new corporate clients, managing key accounts,
generating revenue through field sales and tele-calling, and building long-term business
relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify and acquire new corporate clients for travel services.
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and business discussions.
Promote corporate travel solutions, MICE, holiday packages, visa services, travel
insurance, and other travel products.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Key Account Management
Manage and nurture relationships with existing corporate clients.
Understand client travel requirements and provide customized travel solutions.
Ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
Handle escalations and resolve client concerns promptly.
Conduct regular account reviews and business meetings.
Field Sales & Tele-Calling
Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients.
Perform outbound calls to generate appointments and business opportunities.
Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into business.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and CRM database.
Revenue Growth
Cross-sell and upsell travel products and services.
Negotiate commercial terms and close business deals.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Develop strategies to increase account profitability.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS reports.
Coordinate with operations, reservations, ticketing, and finance teams for
seamless service delivery.
Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality,
Marketing, or related field.
4–8 years of experience in Corporate Sales within the Travel Industry.
Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, and client acquisition.
Strong understanding of corporate travel management and travel products.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience in field sales and tele-sales activities.
Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office.
