About the role
Design and implement MongoDB data models, collections, and schemas
Develop efficient queries, aggregation pipelines, and indexing strategies
Optimize database performance and ensure high availability and scalability
Manage large datasets and ensure data integrity and security
Perform database monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
Work closely with application developers to integrate MongoDB with backend systems
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills
Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB
Expertise in CRUD operations, aggregation framework, and indexing
Solid understanding of NoSQL database design principles
Experience in query optimization and performance tuning
Programming / Integration
Experience with at least one backend language such as Java, Python, or Node.js
Familiarity with REST APIs and data integration
Experience with Spring Boot + MongoDB (preferred)
Tools & Technologies
Version control: Git
API tools: Postman / Swagger
Knowledge of MongoDB Atlas (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in microservices architecture
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
