Project Role : DevOps Engineer

Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Summary:

As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and maintaining development tools and infrastructure that support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes. The role requires setting up secure and efficient pipelines that automate software builds and tests, while ensuring the infrastructure is resilient and protected against potential security vulnerabilities. Collaboration with various teams to streamline workflows and enhance system reliability is a key part of daily activities, along with monitoring and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance of the development environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Lead the implementation of best practices in infrastructure automation and deployment strategies.

Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster continuous improvement.

Coordinate with security teams to integrate security measures into the development lifecycle.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.

Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies.

Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies.

Ability to design and implement secure and scalable infrastructure solutions.

Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages to streamline workflows.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
