The Role

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Research, develop, and design electrical solutions for system integration of components and equipment onboard US Navy Ships. Perform cognizant engineering liaison with other engineering disciplines and lead shipcheck and drawing development efforts. Ability to coordinate drawing development efforts with Design, Engineering, and QA teams, resolving issues and answering questions as required. Ability to work with waterfront personal on resolving issues that arise during installations. Develop and coordinate drawing changes. Review Government Furnished Information and coordinate with Engineering/Design team to validate technical information and insure proper design is accomplished

Must Have

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or above from an ABET accredited university and 0 years of experience.

Nice to Have

A C4ISR / Warfare Systems background is preferred. Competent in software (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Blue beam).
