This is what you will do:
Associate Director, Hematology Marketing will plan to launch Ravulizumab for HSCT-TMA (Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation associated TMA). S/he will plan and execute commercial launch tactics according to marketing and go-to-market strategies. This individual will be responsible for execution of commercial launch tactics in close collaboration with Hematology Japan/global Marketing team and other members of the business unit. The role requires partnerships with other functions including Medical and Commercial Excellence. S/he reports into Marketing Director, Hematology & Nephrology Marketing.
You will be responsible for:
Strategy development – Leading new product launches via commercial assessment, development of launch plan and establishment / management of launch teams with new product planning, being reviewed, and endorsed Japan HSCT-TMA brand plan (strategic plan and tactical plan) by Japan and global leaders.
Financial Planning – Financial planning and management for the designated indication (sales forecasting, OPEX)
Operational Marketing – Lead the planning and execution of assigned
marketing tactics (e.g. promotional material, digital contents, etc.)
Customer Engagement – Engage KOLs and cultivate productive working
relationships. Partner with KOLs on relevant marketing programs in
collaboration with Hematology Marketing, KCLs and Sales.
Brand Analytics – Monitor and analyze relevant indicators of brand
performance. Leverage learnings and insights to optimize marketing
strategy and tactics.
Performance Analytics – Define relevant leading and lagging performance
indicators. Evaluate ongoing performance and brand health. Understand
market and customer dynamics behind the performance to guide the brand.
Field Collaboration – Collaborate with Sales for rollout of marketing tactics.
Gain voice of the field and customers to optimize marketing programs.
You will need to have:
5 years of work experience of marketing in pharmaceutical business
Strategic thinking including analytic skills, problem-solving skills, planning and management skills and communication skills
Deep understanding of marketing discipline from strategic and operational perspectives
Experience in sales and/or other direct customer-facing roles
Well-developed communicating skills with global team
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and mobilize the field sales organization to achieve brand objectives
Ability to translate patient needs and scientific data into commercial strategy
Ability to guide market research projects to enable commercial decisions
Ability to collaborate broadly and cross-functionally
Intellectual curiosity and growth mindset
Comfort with change and ambiguity
Strong engagement, communication, and relational skills
Passion for making a positive contribution to the rare disease community
Bachelor’s degree in science or other relevant areas
Fluency in Japanese, proficiency in English
We would prefer for you to have:
Prior launch experience in rare disease and/or specialty care as a marketing
Team
Experience working in rare disease
Prior experience and customer relationships in Hematology
Fluency in English
Advanced degree in business and/or science (e.g. MBA, MS)
