Job Description

Customer Solutions Core Regions (CSCR) is seeking a Segment Account Manager to drive sales execution and market growth across Quarry & Aggregate, Demolition, and Forestry industries in Japan. In this role, you will act as a hands-on subject matter expert, applying your technical and commercial skills to improve customer outcomes, strengthen dealer capabilities, and accelerate business performance.

You will translate product and application expertise into actionable solutions that enhance customer job site efficiency and enable sales teams to win more business. In addition, you will convert field insights into clear recommendations to the Product groups, directly influencing future product development.

Key Responsibilities

Apply industry and application expertise at the point of sale to influence customer decisions and improve win rates

Deliver impactful training sessions that translate technical concepts into practical improvements in productivity, efficiency, and safety

Analyze customer operations and job sites to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions that drive measurable performance gains

Convert customer needs into actionable sales opportunities and build strong business cases for product improvements and new product introductions

Leverage sales tools (Value Selling Tools) and collaborate with Cat and dealer sales teams to design and deliver tailored customer solutions

Drive cross-functional alignment by coordinating with internal stakeholders to execute on timelines, sales objectives, and aftermarket growth initiatives

Interpret market trends, market share data, and demand fluctuations to inform sales strategy and proactively respond to changing customer needs

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
