Job Description:

As a Specialist, Project Quality, you ensure that new offers meet safety, liability, and customer expectations by adhering to Offer Lifecycle Management (OLM) processes. You implement quality goals for products, suppliers, and factories using OLM methods to ensure robustness and compliance. You analyze customer field experience insights to improve quality and reliability, while identifying and mitigating product and process risks to guarantee flawless launches. You provide support to teams with quality tools, risk management strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with quality leaders to uphold high standards. As an individual contributor, you focus on executing operational and functional strategies within the project quality domain. You spend the majority of your time implementing non-technical processes and programs, applying specialized knowledge and professional judgment. You apply broader knowledge of project quality to achieve results that directly impact your job area. You make decisions regarding your work and priorities within documented policies and procedures. Additionally, you coach and review the work of other professionals, offering guidance on non-routine issues. Your work is occasionally reviewed for quality.

What will you do:

Define and execute Customer Satisfaction & Quality strategy, project quality plan, offer quality roadmap, and quality targets

Improve customer experience ensuring quality, reliability, and safety

Ensure quality and reference process deployment across Marketing, Design, Industrialization, manufacturing, and Services

Provide key quality inputs to Engineering and product teams during new releases or updates

Drive risk management using quality methods and tools such as FMEA, 8D, FTA, etc.

Lead structured problem solving (8D, RCA, 5 Whys) with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Marketing, and manufacturing) and manage customer communication with countries and customers when needed

Manage customer escalations with speed, transparency, and resolution focus

Make decisions on stop shipments, derogations, and containment actions when needed

Drive improvements in yield, scrap, rework, escapes, and supplier-driven issues

Ensure the coordination of plant quality teams to guarantee the best quality in manufacturing and foster prevention

Power Product offers manufactured and/or sold in North America (US, Canada, and Mexico)

A part of Power Products CS&Q global network to support customers

What will make you successful:

Demonstrated expertise in quality management systems and methodologies (OTM, PMP, PrMP, BLMP, COIN)

Strong background in business process analysis, improvement, and implementation

Proven track record in project management and risk assessment

Advanced problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset

Excellence in stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration

Requirements:

BS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering preferred

5+ years in Quality, Manufacturing, Industrialization, or Engineering

Strong analytical problem-solving and technical communication skills

Experience with 8D methodology, 5 Whys, Cause/Effect Analysis, FMEAs, etc.

Cross-functional team project management

Working knowledge of fundamentals and practice of quality in product design and implementation in manufacturing

Domestic and international travel may be required
