What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist II to join our team at Meltwater. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily execution of the accounts receivable function, including client invoicing, collections, cash applications, account reconciliation, and reporting. This role requires technical expertise and concise way of working to ensure timely and accurate receivables management.

What You’ll Do:

Accounts Receivable Operations:

Ensure timely and accurate posting of customer payments, including cash application, refund, and others.

Coordinate with the AR Manager or Sales Ops team to resolve client payment issues quickly and accurately.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing AR reports, reconciliations, and analyses.

Team Development:

Foster a collaborative and accountable work environment that aligns with Meltwater’s values and goals.

Compliance & Reporting:

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable.

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable.

Strong understanding of AR processes.

Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Experience working with ERP systems and AR management tools.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

A high attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement.

Commitment to maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.

Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
