Payroll Specialist
About the role
Execute the payroll process for all Mexico entities (hourly and salaried), manual check calculation
Manage relationships with local payroll providers and government entities such as SAT, IMSS, etc.
Support Payroll Manager in movements employee related in IDSE and SUA
Execute hiring process before the IMSS and other government agencies
Calculations and compliance with employer obligations
Ensure an accurate and timely payroll calculation, employee payments, PTU calculation, INFONAVIT/FONACOT, time tracking/overtime calculation, shadow payroll, payroll taxes, pension plan, statutory and supplemental benefits, vacations days, vacation premium, christmas bonus and all payroll calculation related topics
Federal/state/ local tax reconciliations supporting Payroll Manager
Perform timely and accurate month-end close process for all Mexico entities, including account reconciliations and accruals in local GAAPS
Collaborate cross-functionally on process improvements and efficiencies supporting Payroll Manager for Mexico
Co-lead the payroll implementation process for new facilities/states as needed
Co-lead implementation projects with payroll vendors as needed
Work on timely and correct filings and ensure secondary payroll obligations are met and implemented
