Description
Infor is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Analyst, Associate to join our global Learning Delivery Engagement and Revenue Operations team. This role is crucial in supporting the financial integrity of our education business, including billing, revenue recognition, and financial forecasting for global training engagements.
The position serves as a key operational partner across multiple internal teams such as Accounting, Order Entry, Collections, and Delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, operational precision, and a commitment to delivering accurate, timely financial insights in support of Infor’s customer learning initiatives.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
Reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs) and initiating accurate billing workflows via internal financial systems.
Creating and maintaining customer billing accounts in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Auditing financial data and validating accounting treatments such as deferred revenue scheduling, revenue carve-outs, and fixed fee vs. time & materials project handling.
Coordinating billing transactions and submitting them to the accounting team for timely invoicing.
Cross-referencing system data to ensure accuracy across billing, LMS, and ERP platforms.
Collaborating with departments such as Accounts Payable, Cash Applications, Royalties, Order Entry, and Partner Commission to ensure complete and accurate financial processing.
Responding to internal and external billing inquiries with professionalism and a customer-first approach.
Supporting leadership in building and updating bi-monthly revenue forecasts for learning engagements.
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives across revenue operations processes.
Providing financial and operational support for other education business tasks as required.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
4+ years of professional experience in billing, revenue recognition, or financial operations.
Working knowledge of revenue operations in a service-based or education business environment.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong comfort working with large datasets.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Comfortable working under tight deadlines, especially during month- and quarter-end cycles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Softrax.
Exposure to corporate learning environments or education services.
Certifications such as CPA, CMA, or credentials in finance/data analytics.
Experience working with revenue forecasts and interpreting financial reports.
Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
