Backup L3 - SUPPORT ENGINEER - CISCLD

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Backup Architect to lead the design optimization and governance of backup infrastructure across hybrid environments

The role involves driving automation disaster recovery DR testing and continuous service improvement initiatives across platforms such as Commvault Azure Backup and Veeam

The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring data protection resilience and compliance for large scale enterprise environments

Design and manage enterprise backup and recovery architecture across hybrid on prem cloud environments

Drive optimization strategies to enhance performance scalability and cost efficiency

Lead Disaster Recovery DR planning testing and execution

Implement automation frameworks using scripting PowerShell Python Bash

Ensure adherence to data protection policies governance and compliance standards

Manage and support platforms including Commvault Azure Backup and Veeam

Oversee multi petabyte cross region backup environments

Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning

Collaborate with infrastructure cloud and security teams for integrated solutions

Drive continuous service improvement CSI initiatives

Provide technical leadership and mentoring to operations teams

Ensure alignment with ITIL processes Incident Problem Change Management

Technical Requirements:

Expert level knowledge of

Commvault architecture

Azure Backup services

Veeam Enterprise Plus Cloud Connect

Strong understanding of

Storage systems SAN NAS

Virtualization VMware Hyper V

Networking fundamentals

Proven experience managing large scale multi petabyte environments

Strong scripting skills in PowerShell Python or Bash

Experience in backup optimization DR strategy and automation

Knowledge of cloud based backup and cross region replication
