Job Description: UI Developer (CSS Specialist)

About the Role

We are looking for a UI Developer (CSS Specialist) with 2+ years of experience and a strong command of CSS and front-end styling. You will own the visual layer of our product, building polished, consistent, and responsive interfaces. This is a styling-first role where you will work closely with designers and front-end engineers to bring UI specifications to life with precision.

Key Responsibilities

Implement pixel-perfect UI components and layouts from design mockups.

Write clean, maintainable, and scalable CSS/SASS across the product.

Build and maintain a component library using Bootstrap and custom design tokens.

Manage color systems, theming, and dynamic color manipulation, including tints, shades, contrast ratios, and dark/light mode support.

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across various screen sizes and breakpoints.

Collaborate with React developers to integrate styles into component-based workflows.

Enforce visual consistency through shared variables, mixins, reusable styles, and style guidelines.

Optimize CSS for performance by managing specificity, reducing render-blocking resources, and pruning unused styles.

Maintain high standards for UI quality, consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness.

Review and improve existing styling architecture and front-end design systems.
