We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Analyst, Infrastructure Finance.
In this role you will:
Develop a deep understanding of applicable sectors and products, providing coverage and execution services to HSBC’s infrastructure clients
Oversee and assist in the preparation and negotiation of key financial and project-related documents, including internal documents like credit memos
Build and maintain complex project finance models as well as perform cash flow forecasting and scenario/ sensitivity analysis
Review, understand and summarise due diligence materials as well as the underlying legal documentation for loan facilities
Help the creation of marketing materials such as pitch books, proposals, teaser documents, and information memoranda
Conduct thorough industry and company-specific research
Coordinate and collaborate with other internal stakeholders and business units across regions within the bank
To be successful you will need:
Tertiary qualification from a reputable university, preferably in a relevant discipline. A post-graduate degree or CFA is an advantage
Strong deal execution experience in the global Infrastructure/Project Finance market, ideally with relevant experience; Exposure to domestic and cross-border infrastructure advisory and financing transactions
In-depth understanding of financial markets, including credit analysis, rating methodologies, and credit metrics
Proficiency in financial modelling including operational model, accounting, debt facilities, credit metrics and valuation analysis.
Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with a strong commercial orientation across various debt products, including loans, bonds, and derivatives
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively; Ability to digest and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner to both internal and external stakeholders
