At Allianz Technology, we are looking for aSenior DevOps Engineer to drive the evolution of our Claims Retail platforms, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and highly reliable.
In this role, you will operate at the crossroads ofDevOps, cloud architecture, and platform engineering, setting strategic direction while remaining hands-on with modern tooling and methodologies. You will play a key role in shaping how our platforms are built, operated, and continuously improved across a global environment.

What you do
Define and drive the DevOps strategy, architecture, and tooling for Claims Retail platforms
Design and evolve scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
Lead incident management and root cause analysis, ensuring continuous improvement and operational excellence
Implement and enhance monitoring, observability, and performance optimization across applications and platforms
Drive automation and CI/CD adoption, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort
Ensure security, compliance, and platform stability, applying best practices and modern standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead DevOps and platform engineering teams to deliver strategic IT initiatives
What you bring
10+ years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or platform engineering, with a strong strategic and hands-on background
Proven experience designing and managing cloud-based platforms (AWS / Azure) and modern DevOps ecosystems
Strong expertise in CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace) and performance optimization practices
Solid understanding of ITIL processes, security standards, and compliance frameworks
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading cross-functional and distributed teams
Excellent problem-solving mindset, with the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
