The Role
WPS are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management team covering Central London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading organisation, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse commercial portfolio.
As a Mobile Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients' buildings remain safe, compliant, and fully operational, while providing an excellent service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple FM sites
Diagnose and repair faults on electrical or mechanical systems, depending on your bias
Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and compliance standards
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and end users
Complete accurate reporting via CAFM systems and job sheets
Support with minor installations, upgrades, and project work when required
Participate in an on-call rota where applicable
About You
We're looking for a proactive and reliable engineer with strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering quality service.
You Will Have:
Electrical Bias:
Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
18th Edition (BS 7671)
Strong experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and compliance within FM environments
OR
Mechanical Bias:
Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
Experience maintaining mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumps, pipework, and plant equipment
In Addition:
Proven experience working within Facilities Management / Building Services
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience working across commercial environments
Good knowledge of compliance and H&S best practices
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Multi-skilled capability (electrical & mechanical)
HVAC or F-Gas certification (for mechanical bias where applicable)
