Position Overview
This is a hands-on HR Generalist role supporting the full employee lifecycle. The person will operate as a true operational HR partner, not just administrative support.

Employee relations & engagement
HR compliance & policy administration
HRIS data management (Paycom)
Multi-state payroll processing
This role requires someone who is organized, proactive, detail-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing / product company environment.
Core Responsibilities Recruiters Should Screen For
Talent Acquisition / Recruiting Support
Posting jobs across job boards & social channels
Scheduling interviews & coordinating hiring process
Conducting initial candidate phone screens
Managing requisition tracking & reporting
Partnering closely with hiring managers
Handling candidate communications & feedback
Ideal background: internal recruiter, HR coordinator, or HR generalist who has supported hiring volume.
Onboarding & Offboarding
Managing full onboarding workflow
New hire orientation & documentation (I-9, tax forms, contracts)
Background check coordination & evaluation
Exit interviews & turnover insights
Multi-state final pay compliance
Candidate must be comfortable owning process end-to-end without heavy supervision.
Employee Programs & HR Policy Administration
Managing employee product benefit programs
Supporting wellness & engagement initiatives
Updating employee handbook & HR policies
Acting as HR resource for employee questions
Strong communication skills and professionalism required.
Compliance, HRIS & Data Integrity
Maintaining personnel files & HRIS accuracy
Supporting compliance with federal / state employment law
Partnering with IT to manage employee access / email lists
Researching HR regulatory updates
Must be detail-oriented and compliance-minded.
Payroll & Systems
Processing bi-weekly multi-state payroll
HRIS data entry via Paycom (strong preference)
Managing payroll updates & regulatory changes
Payroll exposure is VERY important screening factor.
Required Experience Profile
Recruiters should target candidates with:
2-3 years HR Coordinator experience
Experience supporting recruiting + onboarding + employee relations
Exposure to multi-state payroll
HRIS experience (Paycom highly preferred; ADP / Workday acceptable)
Bachelor’s degree preferred (HR, Business, or related)
Soft Skill Profile (Critical for Fit)

Compensation
This HR & Recruiting role pays $60k-$65k/yr. Within typical range for hr & recruiting roles in United States.
