Duties & Responsibilities
Business Central Support & Optimization
User Advocacy: Serve as the primary expert resource for Business Central users across the organization, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to transactions, configurations, permissions, and workflows.
Cross-Functional Empowerment: Directly support and optimize key business functions, including Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Inventory Planning, and Warehouse Operations.
System Integrity: Identify recurring system bottlenecks and implement sustainable, long-term technical solutions while maintaining clear documentation and robust process controls.
System Enhancements & Technical Partnerships
Configuration & Customization: Configure Business Central to meet changing business needs, supporting extensions, upgrades, and the creation of custom reports, workflows, and pages.
Vendor & Developer Collaboration: Partner dynamically with developers and third-party vendors on complex system integrations and custom extensions, contributing heavily to testing and release readiness.
Reporting, Integrations & Continuous Improvement
Data & Automation: Support reporting and data analysis needs while driving automation across the platform using APIs, web services, or middleware to maximize operational efficiency.
Requirements & Training: Gather and translate business requirements into technical blueprints, develop engaging user documentation, and create training materials to foster strong user adoption.
Security & Compliance: Ensure all system modifications strictly align with internal security standards and corporate controls.
Required Qualifications
ERP Expertise: 5 to 7+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central.
Workflow Proficiency: Deep understanding of core ERP lifecycles, including order-to-cash and procure-to-pay workflows.
Technical Acumen: Strong familiarity with Business Central extensions, AL concepts, ERP data structures, and integrations (APIs, OData, or SOAP).
Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical concepts easily to business users.
Problem-Solving: Outstanding troubleshooting abilities within a fast-paced, evolving system environment.
Desired Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Information Technology, Business, or Finance), or equivalent professional experience.
Domain Knowledge: A strong background working directly with specialized Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain systems.
Advanced Customization: Prior experience managing complex, custom-built Business Central extensions.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 annually (Dependent upon experience).
