The opportunity
We're currently looking for a Senior Business Controller. Someone to join our Commercial Control team in Finland in order to manage financial performance and support commercial decision-making. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to create the change we know is needed. You will report to our Regional Nordic CFO, located in Gothenburg, with a dotted line to our local Managing Director Finland. You will be a part of the local management team.
In this role, you will act as a key finance partner to the business, combining strong financial expertise with a solid understanding of commercial strategies. You will support the optimisation of profitability, operational growth, and cash flow, while ensuring financial compliance across the local unit. You will also play an important role in identifying process improvements and driving efficiency through optimisation and automation.
The position is located in Helsinki, Finland, with the main place of work being our Helsinki office. The role includes some travel, and remote working may be accommodated when appropriate.
The responsibilities In this role, you'll be expected to drive financial performance and support business decisions through data-driven insights and structured processes. Working as a member of the Finance team, you will be instrumental in strengthening governance, improving financial visibility, and enabling better decision-making.
Deliver statutory financial statements and analyse P&L and Balance Sheet to ensure financial transparency.
Drive governance and internal control activities, ensuring structured processes across the organisation.
Plan and follow up on key financial KPIs such as revenue, costs, margins, and operational cash flow.
Support the preparation of business cases and provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.
Improve management decision-making through clear analysis and financial guidance

You are a structured and analytical finance professional with a strong business mindset. You are comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders. With the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights, you play a key role in supporting strategic and operational decisions.
In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:
MSc in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent, providing a solid financial foundation for the role
3–7 years of experience in controlling or a similar finance role, enabling you to work independently and drive financial processes
Strong Excel skills and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, supporting efficient analysis and reporting
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Workday and BI tools like PowerBI or Qlik, enabling effective data handling and insights generation
Proven ability to analyse and present data to support decision-making, ensuring clarity and business impact
Good track record in taking lead to drive complex items in a cross functional environment. and strong sende of ownership.
