About the Role
Clarvida is seeking a Recruiting & Licensing Case Manager to support our Foster Care program by recruiting, licensing, training, and supporting foster parents who care for children with complex behavioral, emotional, or medical needs. In this role, you will build relationships within the community, guide foster parents through the licensing process, and provide ongoing monitoring and support to ensure safe, compliant, and stable placements.
You will play a key role in strengthening foster parent capacity, supporting placement needs, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating closely with therapists, case managers, and foster care authorities.
Responsibilities
Recruit foster and adoptive parents through community outreach, events, and professional networking
Educate the community on foster care needs and program requirements
Guide prospective foster parents through the licensing and orientation process
Provide ongoing training, support, and monitoring of licensed foster homes
Conduct foster home evaluations and compliance monitoring
Assist with placement of children into foster homes
Maintain communication with therapists and case managers regarding placements
Ensure compliance with state regulations and foster care authority standards
Provide educational training to staff and foster parents as needed
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in an approved Human Services field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Child & Family Studies, Human Services, Counseling, Special Education, or related field)
CWEL required within three (3) months of hire
Child welfare and case management experience preferred
Valid Driver’s License in good standing and active automobile insurance
Ability to obtain an Illinois Driver’s License within thirty (30) days of hire if relocating from out of state
CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within thirty (30) days of hire
