About the Opportunity

A rapidly growing and well-established organization in the food distribution and processing industry is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead and its regional sales efforts. This company has evolved into a major player in its market, operating a large-scale, modern processing and distribution network and serving restaurants, retailers, and wholesale partners.

This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a driven, hands-on sales leader who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and enjoys building both people and business.

What You’ll Do

Sales Leadership & Team Development

Lead, coach, and develop a team of inside and outside sales professionals

Oversee hiring and onboarding of additional sales representatives across key markets

Provide ongoing mentorship, performance management, and strategic direction

Business Growth & Strategy

Design and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and market share

Identify new business opportunities across foodservice, retail, and distribution channels

Strengthen existing accounts while opening new markets and partnerships

Customer & Market Engagement

Build long-term relationships with key customers and partners

Act as a senior point of contact for major accounts

Identify opportunities for product expansion and increased market penetration

Performance & Analytics

Establish key sales metrics and monitor team and individual performance

Analyze sales trends to inform strategy and improve results

Partner with leadership on forecasting and pipeline management

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams

Align sales initiatives with operational capabilities and company goals

Support product launches, promotions, and growth initiatives

What We’re Looking For

7–10+ years of sales experience, including senior-level leadership

Background in food, seafood, packaging, or related industries highly preferred

Proven ability to drive revenue growth and scale sales teams

Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and development

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities

Analytical mindset with experience using data to make strategic decisions

Bachelor’s degree preferred (MBA a plus, but not required)

Base Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 + performance-based bonus
