About the role
Key Responsibilities
1. General Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the General Ledger, in Tally/ERP system.
Perform bank and ledger reconciliations (Debtors, Creditors, Bank, Cash, etc.) on a regular basis.
Handle daily cash and bank transactions and maintain petty cash.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L Account).
2. Accounts Payable (A/P):
Process vendor invoices, ensure proper documentation, and verify against purchase orders and goods receipt notes.
Manage vendor payments, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
3. Accounts Receivable (A/R):
Generate and dispatch customer invoices as per sales and delivery challans.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure timely collections.
Perform debtors aging analysis and reconciliation.
4. Taxation and Compliance:
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and ensure compliance with all GST regulations.
Calculate and deposit TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and TCS, and file relevant returns accurately and on time.
Assist in preparation for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
5. Inventory and Costing (Manufacturing Specific):
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records (Raw Material, WIP, Finished Goods).
Coordinate with the store/production department for stock reconciliation.
Support cost analysis activities, including tracking manufacturing overheads.
6. MIS and Reporting:
Prepare various Management Information System (MIS) reports for the management on cash flow, payables, receivables, and other financial metrics.
Maintain fixed assets register and calculate depreciation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: B.Com
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in an Accounts Executive, preferably within a Manufacturing or Automotive company.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software, with strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime is mandatory.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and principles.
In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, and other direct/indirect tax compliances.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
