Job Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Product Manager within the HR organization, you will serve as a key individual contributor responsible for the functional performance and delivery of various HR technology products. Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of the HR Technology roadmap by identifying functional gaps and recommending feature enhancements based on user feedback

Ensure that all product activities and backlog items remain strictly aligned with the established long-term vision

Work within a ticketing system to prioritize enhancement requests

Translate user needs into clear technical specifications, such as defining workflow logic for a new leave-of-absence module or benefits enrollment screen

Direct the functional configuration and feature-level delivery of assigned HR applications

Partner with the PMO to ensure these functional milestones align with the overarching project schedule

Act as a primary point of contact for HR stakeholders, gathering requirements for feature enhancements and managing their implementation

Maintain a deep functional understanding of system configurations and integration points to ensure products meet business requirements

Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) based on clear "Pass/Fail" criteria to ensure software releases match defined specifications

Manage day-to-day interactions with technology vendors, including tracking support tickets and standard feature requests

Monitor and report on product adoption metrics to track employee engagement with new features

Successfully pivot between different HR applications as business needs shift, quickly gaining subject matter expertise in new tools

Skills, Experience and Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field

Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in technical support, configuration, or a product-related role

Experience with HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and managing digital HR workflows preferred

Proven experience working in both Agile and Traditional (Waterfall) project environments

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple technical issues simultaneously

Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical stakeholders

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team in a fast-paced, enterprise environment

Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) regarding sensitive employee data

Visa sponsorship not available for this role

Benefits:

We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: EchoStar Benefits.
