About the role
Salt is currently hiring a Business Operations manager for a client of ours in Amsterdam.
This is a 6 month freelance role, with 2 days a week needed in Amsterdam.
We are seeking a Senior Business Operations Associate to support and coordinate the operational delivery model across multiple cross-functional Value Streams. This role is responsible for driving alignment, governance, planning, and execution to ensure strategic initiatives and business objectives are delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate 2–3 cross-functional Value Streams, ensuring alignment on priorities, dependencies, and outcomes.
Lead weekly Value Stream meetings, track actions, facilitate workshops, and support roadmap planning.
Maintain and manage RAIDD logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies, and Decisions) and oversee cross-stream dependencies.
Ensure accurate tracking of initiatives, deliverables, and progress within Jira.
Prepare and present updates for portfolio reviews, business reviews, and leadership governance forums.
Support annual planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and business performance tracking.
Drive process improvements, governance adoption, and operational excellence initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to monitor KPIs, manage risks, and deliver business outcomes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Business Operations, PMO, Program Management, or a similar role.
Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, and governance experience.
Experience facilitating workshops, managing cross-functional initiatives, and driving execution.
Proficiency with Jira and reporting tools.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively with senior leadership.
