Facility Maintenance & Construction (div. of BGIS Construction Services Ltd.) is a General Contractor that self performs Civil and Petroleum Construction, our main focus is within but not limited to Industrial Commercial and Retail Construction. As a Project Manager (reporting to the Construction Manager), you are the responsible for leading the project team in delivering the project on time on budget, while delivering quality and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Be Doing
Acts as a primary lead on and off the job site, collaboration and coordination with all internal and external customer and other stakeholders
Responsible for Project Planning & Scheduling including reporting and monitoring as required
Ensure all works is as per our Company policies, and as per plans, standards and specifications in all aspect of execution
Responsible for implementing and enforcing our Company & Customers Health and Safety Program and all other regulatory H&S Compliance
Ensures all scope and contract, change orders/extras are assembled, submitted and approved by the customer
Working with all the departments including but not limited to estimating, project management team, administrative and service arm of the company
Travelling and sometimes staying Out of Town, depending on project location
Responsible for all project start-up and close out documentations including sign off as required to close the project for final invoicing

Professional Presentation
Computer Skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and MS Project)
Familiar with project management software (Procore, Autodesk) an asset
Good Attitude, initiative, strong work ethic, attention to detail & outside the box thinking
Excellent communication and organizational Skills
Able to work effectively and accurately in a fast pace environment
A team player that can work both independently and as a team member
5-10 Years of experience in civil/heavy earthworks preferred
Strong Civil knowledge with experience in estimating, co-ordinating and management
Experience managing multiple Mid size projects
This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
Compensation
This Project / Program Manager role pays $65k-$90k/yr. Within typical range for project / program manager roles in Canada.
