The Turtle Bee is a fast-growing D2C brand offering thoughtfully designed products for babies and young children. Focused on safety, quality, and early childhood development, the brand specializes in Montessori-inspired toys, sensory learning products, and baby essentials for modern parents. About the Role We are seeking an energetic and ambitious Business Development professional to drive growth for our toy business across retail and B2B channels. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the toy category, strong market knowledge, and the ability to build long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets.
● the company's presence across retail stores, distributors, wholesalers, and B2B accounts.
● Identify and onboard new business partners and key accounts.
● Manage end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to deal closure.
● Conduct regular market visits and build strong customer relationships.
● Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and partnership agreements.
● Track sales performance and provide market insights to the management team.
● Ensure timely collections and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile:
● Minimum 2+ years of sales/business development experience in the toy industry.
● Experience handling both Retail Sales and B2B Sales channels.
● Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
● Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.
● Graduate in any discipline (mandatory).
● Candidates from South India are preferred.
● Comfortable with frequent travel and client meetings.
● Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
Ability to commute/relocate:
Domlur, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
