Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in Machine Learning, Python, and SQL, preferably with experience in the banking or financial services domain.

The role involves building and deploying scalable ML models for use cases such as fraud detection, credit risk modeling, customer analytics, and transaction intelligence, working with large-scale enterprise datasets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy machine learning models for banking use cases:

Fraud detection

Customer segmentation

Credit risk modeling

Transaction analytics

Perform:

Data preprocessing

Feature engineering

Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)

Build predictive models to drive:

Customer growth

Risk monitoring

Operational efficiency

Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders

Deploy and monitor ML models in production environments

Ensure model performance, scalability, and reliability

Present insights and recommendations to business teams

Ensure compliance with banking data governance and regulatory standard

Mandatory Skills

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL

Hands-on experience with ML frameworks:

Scikit-learn

TensorFlow / PyTorch

Strong knowledge of:

Statistics & predictive modeling

Feature engineering

Experience with:

Large datasets and SQL-based systems

Model deployment in production

Exposure to Cloud platforms:

AWS / Azure / GCP

Strong data visualization and storytelling skills

Experience working with banking / financial datasets (mandatory)

Technical Skills

Programming: Python, SQL Machine Learning: Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch Data Processing: Pandas, NumPy, PySpark / Spark Visualization: Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Power BI, Tableau Data Platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, Data Lakes Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCP MLOps: Docker, Kubernetes, ML pipelines

Good to Have Skills

Experience with:

Apache Airflow / Kafka
