We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives for enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in test automation, API testing, cloud technologies, and emerging AI-driven testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and enterprise applications.
Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
Perform API testing and automation using REST APIs, GraphQL, Postman, Rest Assured, and related tools.
Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
Execute performance and security testing activities and provide actionable recommendations.
Participate in test planning, estimation, defect management, and release validation.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation best practices.
Required Skills
12+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
Strong experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
Proficiency in Java or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber frameworks.
Strong API testing experience using Postman, Rest Assured, and REST/GraphQL services.
Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
Knowledge of Microservices testing.
AI/Generative AI Testing
Experience testing AI/ML-powered applications.
Exposure to Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
Understanding of prompt engineering, AI response validation, hallucination detection, and bias testing.
Familiarity with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, LangChain, or similar AI platforms.
Performance, Security & DevOps
Experience with JMeter, Gatling, or similar performance testing tools.
Understanding of OWASP principles and application security testing.
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or similar pipeline tools.
Preferred
Experience in enterprise-scale, cloud-native applications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Location: Teynampet, Chennai
Candidates with strong automation architecture experience and exposure to AI/LLM testing are highly preferred.
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chennai, Tamil Nadu
