The Opportunity
We are seeking a Lead HR Administrator to join our People & Corporate Services team based in Macquarie Park, Sydney.
Reporting to the People Operations Manager, this role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality people operations support across the employee lifecycle. Leading a small team, you will be responsible for maintaining data integrity across HR systems, supporting payroll and compliance processes, and driving continuous improvement across HR administrative workflows.
You will bring a strong attention to detail combined with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Confident in managing stakeholder relationships, you will lead with care and professionalism to deliver a seamless, service-focused employee experience.
Please Note - While our preference is for a full-time permanent hire, we are open to candidates seeking part-time opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end HR administration, including onboarding, employee lifecycle changes, and offboarding
Prepare employment contracts and HR documentation in line with policies, legislation, and Modern Awards
Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness
Support payroll processes through timely and accurate data management
Provide responsive support to employees and managers on HR queries, delivering a high standard of customer service
Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, contributing to projects, and balancing project delivery alongside Business as usual (BAU) priorities
Skills, & Qualifications
Proven experience (3+ years) in HR Administration with strong exposure to HRIS and payroll systems
Solid understanding of end-to-end HR administration processes, including contract management
Ability to lead or coordinate a small team while effectively managing high-volume workflows and task allocation
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet competing deadlines
Customer-focused with well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Demonstrated capability to identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
