About the role:

Our Melbourne Indirect Tax team is growing and we are looking to hire talented professionals across various levels, whether you’re early in your career or an experienced Manager seeking a fresh challenge.

Across these opportunities, you’ll work on a broad mix of indirect tax advisory, compliance and consulting matters, supporting clients across a range of industries and gaining exposure to meaningful, high-impact work

Depending on your experience, you will:

Provide practical, commercial indirect tax advice to clients, across GST, stamp duty, fuel tax credits, customs and excise (note, experience across all areas is not required)

Assist with the delivery of tax governance engagements

Research legislation, case law and regulatory guidance

Build and manage client relationships and engagements

Support the implementation of AI and automation tools to assist in the delivery of client deliverables

Support or lead client deliverables, budgets and timelines

Identify opportunities to add value to clients’ businesses

Contribute to team development, mentoring junior staff (Senior Analyst / Manager level)

Play a role in business development and internal training initiatives

About you:

We welcome applications from professionals at Analyst, Senior Analyst and Manager level who are passionate about indirect tax and want to grow their career in a supportive environment.

You will bring:

Experience in indirect tax or a related role within professional services

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or similar

A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn

Ability to manage client relationships and deliver outcomes

Strong communication skills and commercial acumen

Experience mentoring or leading team members is desirable

CA/CPA qualification (or working towards / completed)
