About the role
Responsibilities
Support and maintain existing products throughout their lifecycle.
Investigate and resolve product, manufacturing, supplier, and field-related technical issues.
Lead Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), documentation updates, and product modifications.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to improve product reliability, quality, and cost efficiency.
Support component obsolescence management and alternative part qualification.
Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate and approve design changes while ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
Support production lines by addressing technical concerns and minimizing operational disruptions.
Maintain engineering documentation, bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, and specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
Experience supporting products in a manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Knowledge of engineering change management processes.
Experience with CAD systems, ERP/MRP platforms, and engineering documentation.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
