Junior Safety Engineer collaborate with EHS engineers and management to identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures to promote a safe work environment. / • El Ingeniero de Seguridad Junior trabajan con los ingenieros y la gerencia de EHS para identificar peligros potenciales y recomendar medidas preventivas para promover un entorno de trabajo seguro

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, document and supervise policies and procedures for the Safety and Environmental Programs. / Desarrollar, documentar y supervisar políticas y procedimientos para los Programas de Seguridad y Medio Ambiente.

Revise, document, and supervise administrative reports for the safety and environmental areas. / Revisar, documentar y supervisar informes administrativos del área de seguridad y medio ambiente.

Coordinate accident investigation and documentation of procedures. / Coordina la investigación de accidentes y la documentación de procedimientos.

Develop and facilitate Environmental & safety Training to all employees. / Desarrolla y facilita el entrenamiento de salud y Ambiental a todos los empleados.

Develop, plan, document, and implement compliance of Mexican Law under safety and Environmental requirements. STPS (Mexican OSHA, Mexican EPA). / Desarrolla, planea, documenta e implementa el cumplimiento a los Requerimientos Mexicanos en materia de seguridad y ambiental (STPS, SEDUMA, SEMARNAT, ETC)

Report monthly safety indicators./ Realización de reportes mensuales sobre indicadores de desempeño de seguridad.

Conduct site inspections of areas, and monitor site compliance with health and safety requirements./ Realiza recorridos de Seguridad por las deferentes áreas y monitorea el cumplimiento de salud y seguridad.

Conducts routine, scheduled facility inspections and audits to monitor and detect potential safety, health, and environmental hazards/ Realizar inspecciones y auditorías de instalaciones rutinarias y programadas para monitorear y detectar posibles peligros para la seguridad, la salud y el medio ambiente.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3 0–3 years in safety-related roles (must): internships, field technician, / Mínimo de 0 a 3 años en roles relacionados con la seguridad : pasantías, técnico de EHS campo

knowledge of Safety regulations. /C onocimiento en regulaciones de seguridad.

basic - intermediate English. / Ingles Basico - Intermedio.

Good computer skills. / Buenas habilidades con paquetería de computación.

Basic understanding of ergonomics. /C onocimiento Basico de Ergonomía.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or bachelor’s degree in engineering field or similar field./ Carrera en seguridad ocupacional o título universitario en ingeniería o carrera similar.
