EHS Manager - Plant D
About the role
Responsibilities
Lead all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs for the facility.
Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations.
Develop and implement strategies to promote a proactive safety culture.
Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities to reduce workplace hazards.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Monitor and report EHS performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manage regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reporting requirements.
Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and business continuity activities.
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and leadership teams.
Partner with Operations and Engineering to implement safety improvements and risk mitigation initiatives.
Manage environmental programs including waste management, hazardous materials, air emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
Lead continuous improvement projects aligned with company and operational objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Progressive experience in Environmental, Health & Safety leadership roles within manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience leading audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to influence leaders and employees at all organizational levels.
