Wire Harness Lead - Plant D
About the role
Responsibilities
Lead wire harness design, development, and implementation activities for new and existing products.
Review and approve wire harness drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), specifications, and engineering documentation.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, designers, and technicians.
Support New Product Introduction (NPDI) projects, product transfers, and engineering changes.
Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to improve assembly processes, product quality, and production efficiency.
Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions related to harness failures, quality concerns, or manufacturing issues.
Support supplier qualification, component selection, and alternative component validation.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, safety, customer, and industry standards.
Drive cost reduction, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in wire harness design, cable assemblies, electrical systems, or electromechanical products.
Strong understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, electrical drawings, and BOM management.
Experience supporting manufacturing and production environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
