About the role

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).

Build and optimize data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes on cloud data platforms, primarily Snowflake.

Develop robust data models supporting reporting, analytics, and self-service BI.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and governance across all layers of the architecture.

Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and transformations for performance and cost efficiency.

Integrate multiple data sources including structured and semi-structured data.

Work with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to deliver meaningful dashboards and insights.

Implement best practices for data security, access control, and compliance in Snowflake.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows and pipelines in production environments.

Contribute to data architecture standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or BI development.

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data loading, performance tuning, security, and cost optimization).

Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture and modern data lakehouse concepts.

Expertise in SQL, data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas), and query optimization.

Proven experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines

Experience working with Business Intelligence tools

Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and performance.
