Paralegal

We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support litigation matters remotely on a part-time (10 hours/week) basis. This opportunity is well suited for someone with personal injury experience who can provide dependable support for defense-related casework in a flexible schedule of approximately 10 hours per week. The role offers the chance to contribute to active matters by keeping files organized, assisting with case preparation, and helping the legal team stay on top of deadlines and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Support defense litigation matters by organizing case files, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate records throughout each stage of the case.

• Assist with discovery activities, including preparing, reviewing, and managing document requests, responses, and productions.

• Coordinate trial preparation tasks such as assembling exhibits, preparing case materials, and ensuring documents are ready for hearings and proceedings.

• Use case management software to update matter information, monitor case progress, and maintain accessible documentation.

• Review medical records, claim files, and related materials to help the legal team assess personal injury matters.

• Communicate with attorneys, clients, experts, and external parties to gather information and support ongoing case needs.

• Prior experience supporting litigation matters, ideally within personal injury or defense-related legal work. • Working knowledge of discovery processes and the ability to manage related documentation with accuracy. • Experience assisting with trial preparation and organizing materials for hearings, depositions, or court proceedings. • Proficiency with case management software and general legal document management tools. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage part-time responsibilities efficiently and meet deadlines. • Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with legal teams and external contacts.
