Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Assist in end-to-end accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, employee benefits processing, and general ledger entries

Prepare and post routine journal entries along with complete and accurate supporting documentation

Support timely processing of payroll by validating inputs and coordinating with internal stakeholders for corrections

Assist in maintaining property tax, insurance, and other recurring financial schedules as per defined templates and timelines

Perform basic account reconciliations and support periodic close activities under supervision

Help in preparation and maintenance of fixed asset registers and calculation of depreciation schedules

Ensure accuracy of financial data by performing basic validation checks and supporting quality review processes

Assist in preparation of client deliverables and reports, ensuring timely submission as per agreed SLAs

Support client communication by responding to routine queries and escalating complex issues to Seniors/Managers

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow execution and timely completion of assigned tasks within the project framework

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field required • Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong academics may be considered

Basic understanding of accounting principles including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

Exposure to accounting/ERP systems such as QuickBooks or similar platforms preferred

Willingness to learn cloud-based accounting tools such as Yardi, Intacct, NetSuite, or other systems

Ability to work in a structured environment, follow defined processes, and ensure compliance with guidelines

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity in all deliverables

Good communication skills with ability to work effectively within teams and support client interactions when required

Strong ownership attitude with ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately
