We are seeking a commercially driven Director of Sales to lead revenue growth, strengthen strategic partnerships, and drive market expansion across our portfolio.
Position Summary
The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that maximize revenue, market share, and profitability. This role will lead business development efforts across Corporate, MICE, Leisure, Wholesale, OTA, and Travel Trade segments while managing key client relationships and leading a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
Develop and execute annual sales plans aligned with company revenue objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and emerging market segments.
Drive revenue growth across room sales, group business, events, and ancillary revenue streams.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
Business Development
Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs, and event organizers.
Generate new business through prospecting, networking, sales calls, and industry events.
Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements to maximize profitability.
Represent the company at trade shows, roadshows, and networking events.
Account Management
Manage and grow key strategic accounts.
Develop account plans and revenue strategies for major clients.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop the sales team.
Set clear sales targets and KPIs.
Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and monthly performance reports.
Analyze production trends and business opportunities.
Monitor sales pipelines and conversion performance.
Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of hospitality sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
Strong network within the hospitality, corporate, MICE, and travel sectors.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
