EXECUTIVE / PROJECT ENGINEER, SIGNALLING & PLATFORM SCREENDOOR
[What you will be working on]
You will have the opportunity to work on Un-manned Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling systems. The signalling system supervises and manages trains movement and control the railway traffic, it enables continuous and timely operation as well as ensuring safe and efficient driverless train operations. You will play a lead role in managing international contractors for the supply, design, manufacture, install, test and commission of the Signalling and Platform Screen Doors systems for both the new MRT Lines as well as extension/enhancement to Existing MRT Lines in Singapore.
You will be involved in design review, supervision of equipment delivery and installation, involves in overseas and on-site testing and commissioning. You are expected to be familiar with local safe work practices as well as to develop a good understanding of the system design. You are required to work closely with contractors to manage and monitor the project deliverables as well as in ensuring the safety, quality, and progress of the project works. You will be involved in reviewing and managing project risks and cashflows as well as issuance of engineering instructions and conduct assessment of projects variations/ payments/ claims. You will collaborate with various parties, i.e. contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders from different agencies and appointed Railway Operators to ensure that the projects are well coordinated.

Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering
Strong project management, decision making and leadership skills
Positive Safety culture
Good communication and presentation skills
Good knowledge with LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, network management and security management
Good written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to coordinate and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
Team player who is analytical, resourceful, and result-oriented
Relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects with relevant experience in safety, quality, contract, and programme management would be an advantage
Able to perform occasional night works including weekends and public holidays
Good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil, trackwork, electrical and mechanical works
Candidates with more years of relevant experience (e.g. in Railway signalling and/or railway project management) will be considered for senior positions
