Job Description

QIMA is hiring a QC Inspector for textiles and garments to join a high-impact project in the USA. This is a travel-based assignment in the USA, with work taking place in either Pennsylvania or Los Angeles.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 4 to 6 weeks, with possible extension

Open to all UK & EU citizens

What you'll do

Reporting to an Operations Manager, you will join our Operations team to deliver QIMA's inspection services to the QIMA quality standard. Your responsibilities:

Check email daily to receive inspection documents and guidelines

Attend inspections on time and communicate professionally with suppliers

Inspect merchandise according to company procedures, and supervise container stuffing to the same standard

Complete inspection reports according to company procedures and timelines

Qualifications

What you bring

Prior experience in quality management, especially softlines/ garments/ textiles/ footwear (2 years or more);

Knowledge of AQL standards, as well as relevant safety and quality regulations;

Good command of English (spoken and written);

Great attention to detail and strong professional ethics.
