Job Description:

Role Overview

Fluence is looking for an IT Service Desk Intern to support and enhance internal

IT support services. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional IT

environment, working with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and enterprise

infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for hardware and software in a Microsoft 365

environment

Assist in setting up and deploying desktop computers (Windows and Mac)

Support user account management activities in Active Directory

Help with procurement and distribution of IT equipment

Assist with Office 365, SharePoint, and ServiceNow-related tasks

Contribute to and maintain knowledge base documentation in ServiceNow

Support hardware and software inventory management

Assist in troubleshooting audio/video conferencing systems

Support administration of core hosted applications

Collaborate with local IT vendors and internal teams

Key Qualifications & Experience

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or

a related field

Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows and/or Mac OS

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Office applications, Teams, Outlook)

Interest in IT support, troubleshooting, and end-user services

Basic understanding of networking, device management, or identity

management is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work on-site in the Erlangen office
