Role Overview:

As a DevSecOps Engineer you will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and automated cloud platforms to support software delivery and operational environments.

The role focuses on infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD enablement, container platforms, and identity/access management across Azure and OpenShift environments. The engineer is responsible for implementing robust DevSecOps practices that ensure reliability, security, and repeatability of deployments in a multi-environment ecosystem.

Description

Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code:

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines: Azure & GitHub

Build and operate containerised platforms using Kubernetes, Openshift and Docker

Build, deploy, and automate hybrid cloud-native workloads utilizing Azure services and Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) infrastructure

Deploy platform environments across development, test, and production

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 2 years relevant experience in: Cloud platform engineering & DevOps/DevSecOps engineering

Bachelor’s degree in computer science & software engineering

Experience in Azure services, Docker and Kubernetes

Ability to obtain and maintain Australian defence security clearance – Must be Australian citizen

Ability to work in hybrid environment from Homebush office (2 – 3 days on site)

Overseas and interstate travel

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cloud environment (AWS/GCP)

Experience in integration and deployment of cloud solutions

Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business, such as training, design and project management
