Chokore is evolving into a broader lifestyle platform spanning Fragrances, Headwear, Eyewear and Fashion Accessories.

As part of our growth journey, we are building our offline fragrance business and are looking for a Channel Development Manager to establish distribution and retail presence across Gurgaon, Delhi NCR and North India.

Role Summary

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and execution-focused Channel Development Manager who can help build our offline fragrance business through distributor partnerships and retail expansion.

The ideal candidate should have strong relationships within the distributor ecosystem across Gurgaon, Delhi NCR and North India and possess a deep understanding of channel development, retail placement and trade economics.

This role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to help shape the offline growth strategy of a rapidly evolving lifestyle brand.

Key Objectives

Within the first 6 months, the successful candidate will be expected to:

Identify and onboard suitable distributors across Gurgaon, Delhi NCR and North India.

Establish a scalable route-to-market strategy.

Place fragrance products in 50–100 carefully selected retail outlets.

Build strong relationships with distributors and retail partners.

Generate repeat orders and validate channel viability.

Create a roadmap for expanding offline distribution across North India.

Key ResponsibilitiesDistribution Development

Identify, evaluate and onboard distributors across Gurgaon, Delhi NCR and North India.

Build and maintain strong distributor relationships.

Negotiate commercial terms, margins and channel agreements.

Develop scalable distribution and channel expansion strategies.

Monitor distributor performance and productivity.

Retail Expansion

Drive retail placement through distributor networks.

Identify high-potential retail partners and channels.

Ensure strong product visibility and availability.

Support retailers with product knowledge, merchandising and replenishment.

Target Channels

The role will focus on building presence across:

Chemists and pharmacies

Salons and grooming studios

Beauty and cosmetic stores

Lifestyle stores

Gift stores

Men's fashion and accessory stores

Premium independent retailers

Market Development

Identify new growth opportunities and channel partnerships.

Gather retailer and consumer feedback.

Monitor competitor activity, pricing and trade practices.

Recommend strategies to improve sales and channel performance.

Business Performance

Track outlet productivity and stock movement.

Monitor secondary sales and repeat orders.

Maintain accountability for channel targets and business outcomes.

Provide regular progress reports and market intelligence.

QualificationsExperience

5–10 years of experience in FMCG, personal care, grooming, cosmetics, fragrances, beauty or lifestyle products.

Proven experience in distributor appointment and channel development.

Experience expanding brands through offline retail channels.

Mandatory Requirements

Strong existing distributor relationships across Gurgaon, Delhi NCR and North India.

Demonstrated experience in building and managing distribution networks.

Strong understanding of trade margins, distributor economics and retail operations.

Ability to independently develop new markets and channels.
