About the role
Job Summary
ONS Travels is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, receivables, payables, statutory compliance, and foreign remittances.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B Travel / DMC accounting, hands-on knowledge of BUSY Accounting Software, and the ability to independently handle accounts up to finalization. Experience with CIS Countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, etc.) will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounts & Bookkeeping
Maintain books of accounts in BUSY Accounting Software.
Handle daily accounting entries, bank transactions, journals, and reconciliations.
Manage ledgers, receivables, payables, and expense accounting.
Reconcile supplier and client balances regularly.
2. Receivables & Payables
Monitor outstanding payments and vendor dues.
Process overseas supplier payments and remittances.
Maintain receivable/payable aging reports.
Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams for payment tracking.
3. Travel Industry Accounting
Handle accounting for B2B travel bookings, hotels, transport, and tour packages.
Maintain booking-wise profitability and costing records.
Manage supplier reconciliations and foreign currency transactions.
4. GST & Compliance
Prepare GST data and coordinate TDS compliance.
Ensure GST-compliant invoicing and documentation.
Support auditors and CA during audits and finalization.
5. Banking & Foreign Remittances
Handle bank reconciliations and international payments.
Prepare documents for outward remittances (Form 15CA/15CB, etc.).
Maintain proper records of foreign transactions.
6. Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Aging Reports.
Monitor expenses and support financial planning.
7. Documentation & Controls
Maintain financial records and booking documentation.
Ensure internal controls and accounting discipline.
Support smooth coordination across departments.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST & TDS.
Hands-on experience with BUSY Accounting Software.
Good knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reports).
Experience in overseas supplier payments and foreign transactions.
Ability to independently manage accounts with high accuracy.
Strong coordination and analytical skills.
Qualification & Experience
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
4–5 years of experience in Accounts & Finance
Experience in Travel Industry / DMC / Tour Operator
B2B Travel Accounting experience preferred
Experience with CIS Countries suppliers/clients will be an added advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile
Background in Travel / DMC / Tour Operator Industry
Strong knowledge of BUSY Accounting Software
Experience in B2B Travel Accounts
Familiarity with CIS markets
Ability to handle complete accounts independently up to finalization
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
