About the role

As a Category Business Development Manager, you will leverage your category expertise,

industry knowledge and existing relationships to acquire new customers and grow revenue

for Godamwale.

The ideal candidate understands how brands operate, knows the key decision makers within

their category, and can identify opportunities where Godamwale can improve supply chain

efficiency, warehousing footprint and distribution performance.

This is not a traditional sales role. We are looking for commercial leaders who already

understand their industry category and can engage with CXOs, Supply Chain Heads,

Procurement Heads and Business Leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation

 Generate new business opportunities within assigned industry categories.

 Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.

 Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.

 Convert relationships into long-term customer contracts.

Industry & Category Development

 Own a specific industry category such as:

o Consumer Electronics

o Mobile & Accessories

o Appliances

o Fashion & Lifestyle

o Beauty & Personal Care

o FMCG

o Healthcare

o Automotive

o Industrial Products

o Home & Furniture

 Develop a deep understanding of supply chain challenges within the category.

 Position Godamwale as a strategic supply chain partner.

Customer Acquisition

 Leverage existing relationships with brands, manufacturers, distributors and

marketplace sellers.

 Identify companies undergoing supply chain expansion, warehouse consolidation or

distribution transformation.

 Create opportunities for warehousing, transportation, fulfillment and value-added

services.

Solution Selling

 Work closely with solution design and operations teams to develop customized

proposals.

 Understand customer business requirements and design appropriate logistics

solutions.

 Lead commercial negotiations and contract closures.

Market Intelligence

 Track category trends, new entrants, supply chain investments and distribution

expansion plans.

 Provide regular insights to founders regarding market opportunities and competitive

developments.

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferred Background

 3-10 years of experience in Category Management, Vendor Management, Business

Development, Marketplace Growth or Commercial roles.

 Experience with Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, Reliance Retail, JioMart, Zepto,

Blinkit or similar organizations.

 Strong network within one or more industry categories.

 Demonstrated experience working directly with brands, manufacturers and large

sellers.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
