Transport Refrigeration Technicians – Ontario, Canada
$38.00 - $42.00 hr | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits

Pay & Schedule
Pay: $38.00 – $42.00/hour (based on experience)
310T- $40-42
310J-$38-42
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every Thursday
Shift: Monday -Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm
On-call rotation covering 1 weekend every 5 weeks | $100 premium for on-call coverage

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Mobile yard and service call work
Troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of electrical systems
Troubleshooting, diagnostics, testing and repair of components on transport refrigeration equipment, heaters
Preventative maintenance and pre-trip inspections
Testing systems for freon leaks, repairing and replacing components as necessary
General maintenance and PM services
Utilization of refrigeration equipment to test and charge freon systems
Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications
Accurately entering and updating information in the maintenance software through the use of state-of-the-art web-based tablet system
Communicating effectively with co-workers, customers and service managers
Other duties as required
Qualifications
5 plus years experience in transport refrigeration repairs
Valid Driver’s License in good standing
Ozone Depletion Certificate preferred
Own tools and storage device
Good written and communication skills
