Skills and Competencies

3-5 years of experience in full-stack software engineering within product-based environments, with deep exposure to both backend and frontend technologies

Proficiency in C#/.NET for backend development and React or Vue for frontend applications

Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and application deployment practices

Experience working with cloud platforms preferably AWS and familiarity with modern software development practices

Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases and strong foundations in data structures and object-oriented programming

Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain backend services using C#/.NET and frontend applications using React/Vue

Build reusable UI components, backend APIs, and data processing systems

Translate UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and high-quality code

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver robust technical solutions

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and engineering standards

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and pre-production environments

Contribute to documentation to ensure system maintainability and knowledge sharing

Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously improve development practices

About the Team

Our Platform Engineering team builds the foundational services, infrastructure, and developer tools that power Moody’s Insurance Solutions SaaS products. By joining this team, you will work on building core platform capabilities that support global insurance solutions.
