Jr. QA Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior QA Engineer with strong manual testing experience and an eagerness to grow in test automation. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of software testing principles, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business and functional requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

Perform manual testing for web and/or mobile applications.

Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.

Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.

Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.

Maintain test documentation, test execution reports, and defect reports.

Support automation testing initiatives and contribute to the development of automated test scripts as skills evolve.

Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills:

2–4 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.

Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.

Experience in writing clear and effective test cases and test scenarios.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Basic understanding of test automation concepts.

Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.

Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.

Pay: Up to ₹360,000.00 per year
