Job Description
Maven Dental Port Lincoln invites applications from experienced and new graduate Oral Health Therapists with Adult Scope to join the practice on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities include:
Perform dental hygiene assessments and treatments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications.
Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and effective hygiene practices.
Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Place stainless steel crowns and remove deciduous teeth within scope of practice.
Assist in the management of dental emergencies and support a range of clinical procedures.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient records.
Build strong relationships with patients and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.
Adhere to infection control standards and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment.
Stay current with emerging dental technologies, techniques, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Qualified and experienced Oral Health Therapist with Adult scope, registered to practice in Australia
Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain)
Ability to work within Australia.
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dental team
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing patient records and treatment plans
