About CORTO

We are CORTO, a cutting-edge software company dedicated to revolutionising the legal industry. Our mission is to empower legal practitioners with AI-driven solutions that streamline their workflow, boost productivity, and provide more efficient client service.

Our team of AI experts and engineers collaborate to develop intelligent software tailored to the unique needs of lawyers, paralegals, and legal assistants.

Our innovative AI solutions automate routine tasks, simplify document management, and enhance decision-making, allowing legal professionals to focus on what they do best—providing expert legal counsel.

We’re rapidly scaling from 80 to 150+ employees, with a highly technical workforce where around 90% of the team are developers and engineers. Working alongside our Sydney-based team of passionate high achievers, you’ll join a fast-growing technology business where things rarely stay the same for long - and if you’re smart, caring, and ambitious, you’ll be in great company.

What you'll do

You’ll play a hands-on role in helping law firms successfully adopt, use and get value from CORTO’s software. This role is designed for someone who understands the financial and operational rhythm of a law firm. You may have worked as a legal bookkeeper, accounts clerk, trust accountant, practice manager, legal cashier or law firm finance professional, and you know what it takes to keep matters, billing, invoicing, payments and reconciliations moving accurately.

You’ll work closely with customers after they come onboard, guiding them through setup, training, adoption and ongoing use – helping accounts teams, practice managers and legal professionals feel confident using new technology to improve accuracy, reduce manual work and create more efficient financial workflows.

You’ll work closely with sales, product and support teams, and own a portfolio of law firm customers focused on adoption, retention and expansion outcomes.

To make this happen you will

Own onboarding outcomes, adoption metrics and renewal health across your portfolio of customer firms

Onboard new customers and guide them through setup, training and early adoption

Build strong relationships with law firm accounts teams, practice managers, lawyers and key users

Help customers understand how to use CORTO’s software in a practical, day-to-day way

Support customers with workflows relating to matters, billing, invoicing, payments, reconciliations and accounts processes

Use your understanding of law firm finance operations to help customers improve efficiency, accuracy and confidence

Monitor customer health, adoption, engagement and satisfaction

Identify risks early and work proactively to improve customer outcomes

Run training sessions, check-ins, product walkthroughs and customer enablement activities

Work with sales, product, marketing and support teams to improve the customer experience

Capture customer feedback and translate it into useful insights for product and leadership teams

Maintain accurate customer records, success plans, notes and activity updates in CRM or customer success tools

What you’ll bring

Experience in legal bookkeeping, law firm accounts, trust accounting, practice management, legal cashiering or law firm finance operations

Strong understanding of how law firms operate, including matters, billing, invoicing, payments, disbursements and reconciliations

Confidence working with practice managers, accounts teams, lawyers, partners and senior stakeholders

Strong attention to detail and a practical understanding of why accuracy matters in law firm financial processes

Clear communication skills and the ability to explain processes in a calm, practical and helpful way

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to guide customers through unfamiliar workflows

Confidence learning new software and helping others become comfortable using it

A genuine interest in moving into legal technology, client success or a more customer-facing SaaS role

Even better if you have

Experience with software such as LEAP, Actionstep, Smokeball, Clio, Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB or similar platforms

Understanding of trust accounting, office accounting, matter accounting, time recording, WIP, disbursements, invoicing or reconciliation workflows

Experience training others, documenting processes or helping teams adopt new systems

Experience in client success, implementation, onboarding, support, consulting or account management

You are the type of person who

Builds trust quickly with customers and internal teams

Communicates clearly, patiently and with confidence

Enjoys helping people solve practical business problems

Takes pride in accuracy, process and follow-through

Is highly organised and disciplined with notes, customer records and next steps

Can balance detail-oriented financial knowledge with a warm, customer-first approach

Is curious about technology, professional services and how AI can improve the way law firms work
